The story behind our name is actually inspired by one of nature’s most amazing creatures: the orca whale
Orcas, also known as killer whales, are famous for their incredibly strong family bonds. In fact, adult orcas will travel thousands of miles just to be with their pod—their family.
We chose “POD” because, like orcas, our members value their families and the connections they share. And “PLAN”? Well, that’s where we come in. We’re here to help you plan for the years ahead, making it easier to avoid problems and enjoy a happy, fulfilling life.
So that’s the tale of Podplan—no electric cars, no peas—just a name rooted in family, planning, and a little inspiration from the ocean’s most loyal travelers.
